FAQ

Common questions

Who can access Comscore MCP?+

Access is available to select Comscore clients with an active Digital or TV subscription. If you're an existing subscriber, you're likely eligible — submit a request and we'll confirm within 1–2 business days.

Do I need a new account or login?+

No. Comscore MCP uses your existing Comscore SSO credentials — no new account, no separate login. Authentication is handled through your current Comscore identity.

What data can I access?+

Your MCP access mirrors your existing Comscore subscription exactly — same markets, same products, same data. If you can see it in Comscore today, you can query it via MCP. Nothing more, nothing less.

Which AI clients are supported?+

Comscore MCP works with Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and ChatGPT (paid accounts with Developer Mode). Any MCP-compatible client should work — these three are officially tested and supported.

Is my data shared with the AI provider?+

Comscore data is retrieved on demand when you ask a question — it is not stored by or used to train any AI model. Your data governance and subscription terms with Comscore remain in effect.

How fresh is the data?+

Data availability and refresh cadence matches your existing Comscore subscription. Digital data is typically available with a monthly lag; Linear TV data follows Comscore's standard release schedule.

I'm not a Comscore subscriber — can I still get access?+

Not currently. Comscore MCP is available to existing subscribers only. If you're interested in becoming a Comscore client, visit comscore.com to learn more.
